Wandering around the World
My camera roll is filled with winter snaps from across the Globe. I’m one of those people who will take 50 pictures of a statue just to make sure I have at least 1 decent one (please tell me I’m not alone…)
So I thought I’d share 5 of my favourite winter photos from my travels and from my home town, and finally put some of those photos to good use! Without further a do, here’s Blogmas Day Three!
My 5 Favourite Winter Photos
Of course I had to include New Zealand! I don’t know why, but winter over there just felt so different – so much more magical in a way. This image was taken on the South Island in Fiordland National Park – if you’re a hiking fan I’d definitely recommend a visit!
Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree… My local town has a huge Christmas lights switch on event every year and its one of those things you just cannot miss!
Last year I headed to Edinburgh just after Christmas and managed to catch the end of the Christmas Market Season!
Granted this one doesn’t look wintery. But it felt it, promise me. We walked through fields, bog patches and herds of cows to reach Eggleston Abbey, just outside of my hometown. I love the sun setting behind the trees in this photo!
This is hands down one of my favourite New Zealand pictures. The sunset, the mountains, the water – it doesn’t get much more magical!
And there you have it – 5 of my favourite winter pictures! Let us know in the comments which one is your favourite!
