My 2021 Goals

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a fantastic festive season, and are ready for everything 2021 brings! Here’s hoping this year is a little bit kinder to all of us.

I’ve never really been one to set any New Years Resolutions because I just know I won’t stick to them. And then I’ll feel bad for not sticking to them. So instead I’ve chosen five goals which can definitely be achieved by the end of the year, and are relatively simple to slot into my every day life!

MY 2021 GOALS

Be More Adventurous

I’ve always been someone to err on the side of caution but this year I want to be a little more relaxed and say yes to new adventures and opportunities. Because who knows where a simple yes will take you!

Exercise More

I’m not setting one of those goals where I sign up to the gym and then never go after January 3rd. And I’m no couch potato. I just want to spend this year getting into the outdoors and just being a bit more active. Even if it’s just choosing to go out for a walk in the rain instead of sitting on the sofa watching a film.

Explore Local

I love exploring my local area and discovering my own back yard. And this year I want to do more local explorations. Hopefully by the end of the year I’ll have found out so much more about where I live, our history and discovered some cool places to visit.

Learn a New Skill

I don’t know what skill, but I just know I want to learn something new. Maybe I’ll take up a hobby or take a course over the summer!

Grow Undaunted Adventure

Last but definitely not least, I’d love to grow my blog. I’ve loved watching it grow throughout 2020, and I’ve been able to meet so many new people throughout the year. I’m so excited to see where 2021 takes Undaunted Adventure – I’d love to double my subscribers on WordPress by the end of the year!

What are your goals for 2021? Let us know in the comments below!

  2. I love reading New Year goal posts and loved this one. I have exercise more as a goal I’m hoping to achieve in 2021 but agree, I don’t want to force myself too much like signing up to the gym when I know that I’ll end up not going at all. I also love your goal of learning a new skill – that’s such a good one! Happy New Year!

  3. Great post and goals! I have similar goals as well. I didn’t do any travelling after March in 2020 not even locally since I lost my job so money was tight. I’m in a better place now so I’d love to travel locally! I also agree with exercising more. I’m not a lazy person and I do exercise but I feel like I’m working so much and on my laptop all day so I’d love to incorporate more movement daily. 🙂

  4. An awesome set of goals!

I made a list of my own, but it’s a lot longer. (Also: great blog too, I don’t think you’ll have a problem growing it in 2021)

    Happy New Year!

    • Definitely a good plan! Just got to go at your own pace – you’ll probably achieve more that way too!
